Turmeric-Ginger Face Mask

DIY Self-care

Today JAR is bringing you an easy to make facemask recipe, with five natural ingredients that will leave your skin glowing and revitalized!

Ingredients:

  • Bentonite Clay (1 TBSP)
  • Turmeric Powder (1 TSP)
  • Ground Ginger (1/4 TSP)
  • Water (2-3 TBSP)

Directions

  1. Add bentonite clay, turmeric powder, ground ginger, and water to a small mixing bowl and mix with a fork until the color of the powders is uniform.
  2. Add water, one tablespoon at a time, and mix until your ingredient combine into a pastey, buttery texture.
  3. Use your fingers to dig in and apply your facemask! I like to cover from my forehead to my collarbones, and even down to the top of my chest if I plan on showering after application.
  4. Leave the facemask on for anywhere from 2 to 20 minutes, depending on your preference. You should experience a gentle tingling sensation from the ginger.
  5. Remove your facemask with warm water and a washcloth.
