The Ultimate Sweet Treat - Your Kids Will Thank Us
Make Homemade Ice Cream - No Machine Needed!
We know the last thing you want to do is spend more money on buying yet another small appliance for your kitchen. So, if you don’t have an electric or manual ice cream maker at home, that’s ok! There are no machine recipes that will help. The two recipes I’ll share below are from handletheheat.com.
The ingredients you’ll need for each respective method of making ice cream are below.
Ingredients
2 Ingredient Method:
2 cups heavy cream, chilled
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk, chilled
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Freeze & Stir or Plastic Bag Methods:

The Topping: Chocolate Honey & Rice Cereal
As much as I love homemade ice cream, the first time I paired it with Hani Honey’s chocolate honey, I lost my mind. Imagine the texture of a really well made hot fudge but with a little more “chew” from when the honey hits the frozen treat. Plus the honey flavor still shines through and you get both definite honey and definite chocolate.
If you like your chocolate doubled, I would recommend adding a small hand-full of these semi-sweet mini chocolate chips. My husband isn’t as much of a chocolate nut as I am so I added about 1/3 Cup of Rice cereal. It really doesn’t matter what kind of cereal you add, honestly. I added my cereal for just a bit of another textural component.
